Marvol Management

A Local Presence – A Global Power

Founded in Hanover, Germany in the mid 1980s, the Marvol Management Group came about as Mark Voloshin recognised the opportunities that were about to arrive following the liberation of the Russian economy when the imminent fall of the Soviet Union became a reality. Voloshin aimed to both help the people rebuild their country as well as facilitate strong ties between Russian and Western enterprises. The initial focus was on the lucrative but down-trodden mining and aviation sector to begin the revitalising and rebuilding of Russia’s key industries.

Thanks to the determination of its CEO, Dr Mark Voloshin, the Marvol Group has become a force to be reckoned with in the world business arena. Consisting of four state-owned enterprises as well as at least ten private companies with the aim of contributing to economic growth through the expansion of Russian and foreign trade.

Today the Group has international interests in manufacturing, trade, finance, marketing and consulting. As a group Marvol focuses on sustained local employment opportunities and aims to create social and ecological awareness by ensuring that all their businesses work both for profit and the good of their communities. By bringing together the interests of businesses worldwide, the Marvol Group manages to maintain its vision of “Local Presence and Global Power”.

The Marvol Management Group is a major player in many European enterprises and part of its unique approach to business involves housing their various departments in the most practical countries. The United Kingdom will soon act as the Group’s logistics co-ordination point for each business division across the world. The sophisticated network of communication supported by the United Kingdom branch will have much to do with the success of the vast array of Marvol’s businesses. Switzerland already offers a similar function for the entire Group and handles all financial considerations through Marvol Finanz AG.

Thanks to Dr Voloshin’s love for this country, the Marvol Group was established in South Africa in 1986. The company’s interests vary from the wine farming to the mining sector and to creating and establishing sustainable energy sources. While varied, all these interests are underpinned by the Group’s commitment to responsible business practices that work with communities to better the lives of everyone involved.
